Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Officer Down Memorial Fund of North Carolina is to assist with the financial burden that occurs when surviving family members of Law Enforcement Officers who have been killed in the line of duty begin the task of rebuilding their lives.

 

Officer Down memorial Fund of North Carolina is a non-profit organization dedicated to the survivors of fallen Law Enforcement Officers throughout the State of North Carolina. We hope to further educate the public of the need to support the variety of Law Enforcement Officers represented throughout the state of North Carolina and the survivors.

 

The ODMF has set forth its criteria for assisting families. ODMF Criteria.

 Our Goal 

Provide financial assistance to survivor’s families throughout the State of North Carolina.

 

Provide information for the survivors in coping with the emotional stress of a line-of-duty death.

 

Bring awareness to the survivors of North Carolina State’s death benefits.

 

Help current officers with information on how to organize their current financial materials and other affairs.

 

Establish the ODMF Scholarship with the intent to provide financial assistance to surviving children and spouses of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. In accordance with criteria to be established in the future.
