The Tye Blanton Foundation

Tye Blanton was the son of slain Trooper Shawn Blanton and wife Michaela. Tye fought with numerous medical conditions, including congestive heart failure at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Mission Hospital until his death at 4 and a half Months.

In honor of Tye Blanton, help us to supply items for premature and sick infants of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU.) These items will give a sense of personality and comfort to the infants of the NICU and help parents to make the NICU a home away from home for their newborn.

 Madison Goodnight's Story

This is the story of Trooper Goodnight's daughter.

Since Madison was born Aug. 26, 2006, the girl has been in and out of hospitals due to her illness. She was diagnosed a year after her birth. Prior to receiving treatment, the infant suffered up to 100 seizures a day. The physical and mental strain this puts on parents is unimaginable. To learn more about Madison's story click on the link below.

The wonderful Town of Elon held a bike ride called “Cruising the Place for Madison Grace”. The ride was held on June 20th, 2009. The ride fundraiser may be over but more is needed.
